A 5.0-magnitude earthquake hit northwest China's Qinghai Province early Monday morning, said the China Earthquake Administration.China's earthquake monitoring network detected a 5.0-magnitude earthquake in the Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai at 1:15 a.m., or 37.7 degrees north latitude and 95.7 degrees east longitude. The epicenter was about seven kilometers deep, according to the network. The region experienced a 6.4-magnitude quake on Friday morning. More than 130 aftershocks have occurred there since then.
